About Us

We at Art of Succulents strive to create artistic and beautiful creations.  We search out creative and unique ways to plant succulents that generate discussion and increase appreciation for these amazing plants.  While it's always nice to put a plant in a pot and water it, the breadth of forms that succulents come and their relative hardiness really lends them to the possibility of greater artistic expression in their presentations.  We search for odd pots, jars, boxes and any other containers that can be turned into pots and would enhance the look of a particular succulent plant. We spend a lot of time drilling holes in various things so that there is sufficient drainage for the plant that ultimately goes in it.  We scour thrift shops, yard sales, nurseries, and the homes of professional and amateur ceramics enthusiasts for new ways to display succulents.  All the plants we use in our arrangements are grown here at our location.  We guarantee that each plant you receive from us is in great health and free of all pests and diseases.  We select the healthiest possible plant from our huge collection for arrangements that we present here.  We are very experienced succulent growers and are proud of our plants.  In that light, healthy plants will grow and change and flower.  The photos you see of each arrangement were taken at one time.  The plant(s) in each arrangement will likely have grown since the photos were taken.  If the display has changed significantly from the photos displayed, we will immediately contact you and advise you of the changes.  We would be happy to take updated photos of any arrangement upon request so that you will know exactly what you will be receiving.  Additionally, all succulent plants will flower at some point.  Some more frequently than others and some more showy than others.  The photos displayed may show a plant in flower and it may no longer be flowering at time of order. Or the photos will show a plant that is not in flower and they plant may be flowering at time of order.  And please keep in mind that many succulents, including some of the ones we use in our arrangements, are deciduous.  Therefore, they will drop their leaves in the winter and regrow them in the spring.  Photos will generally show plants that are leafed and growing.  Depending on the season plants are ordered, they may be received while they are dormant (no leaves).  But, rest assured as soon as the sun warms them up in the Spring they will in turn spring back to life.  Regardless, customer satisfaction is very important to us here at Art of Succulents, so please contact us with any questions or concerns and we will do our best to address them before purchase.

Additionally, please keep in mind that succulents generally come for warm climates and most are frost tender.  Each species is different and will require some homework regarding their complete care.  We try to include as much care instruction as we can in the descriptions of each arrangement in addition to the best name we have for each plant so that further research can be done.

We sincerely thank you for browsing our site.  We hope you have enjoyed seeing these amazing plants and our attempt at making them look even more interesting.
