Aramis
Bursera fagaroides happily growing in a handmade pot by local artist June Wong. The pot is exquisite with extra work put in for the beautiful crackling. Bursera fagaroides is a deciduous plant that will lose its leaves in the winter and regrow them in the spring. The trunk gets thicker in time and will develop into a shape unique to itself. Water whenever the soil is dry when leaves are present. Do not water after it has dropped its leaves. Resume watering at the sight of the first leaflets sprouting in the Spring. You can turn this plant into a bonsai if desired. It can be trimmed or pruned into any form the owner desires. In fact, yearly pruning will promote growth of the trunk, which is desired by collectors.
