Bath
Pachypodium namaquanum in a hand-made pot by local artist June Wong. We don't believe June had a bathtub in mind when she made this beautiful pot, but some of the most beautiful works of art around were accidental or unintentional. Regardless, this arrangement was inspired by the thought of a nice relaxing bath with one's favorite bath partner, however that may be. That is why, this pot is inhabited by an EXTREMELY rare two-headed P. namaquanum. Normal P. namaquanums are rare and highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. This plant usually has one main growing point in the center and grows upward from there. It is a very slow-growing plant and very hard to propagate, which explains why they come with a hefty price tag. Our particular plant has two equal sized heads and is growing on both sides. P. namaquanum is a delicate plant to grow. It is a winter grower and is dormant in the summer months. Do not water when it is dormant and have no leaves. It needs to stay in a well ventilated area with a lot of sunlight and well draining soil.
