Jack

Jack is one of our holiday themed arrangements (we'll leave it to you to guess the holiday).  It consists of a gorgeous Aloe hybrid with an orange tinge in a unique orange bowl discovered in a thrift shop.  The bottom of the bowl is solid orange, but it evolves into a brown, mottled pattern toward the top.  We put a hole in the bottom and turned it into a succulent pot.  This Aloe of unknown origin is sun sensitive.  It's hue turns to orange as it gets more sun.  In the shade it reverts to a yellow tinge.  It has delicate, elongated leaves with jagged margins.  Water once a week in the summer and once a month in the winter.  Protect from freezing.  It already has a pup shooting out from the base and more are sure to follow.  The pups may be harvested and propagated into new plants or just left on the mother plant for aesthetic purposes.
