Merry

Merry is...just a merry little arrangement appropriate for winter holidays.  Aloe harlana in a festive, green, Christmas tree shaped dish-turned pot.  A. harlana is a comely plant with shiny, spotted leaves forming a starshaped rosette.  It is a slow growing plant and will be happy in this pot indefinitely.  However, it will grow larger if transplanted into a larger pot.  It will also sprout pups from its base as it gets more mature.  Every winter it will send out a flower stalk with about a dozen salmon colored, tubular flowers that drive hummingbirds wild.  This plant is extremely easy to maintain.  Water whenever the soil is dry (do not overwater). Protect from freezing.
